As Good as Reese's

Maybe you still have Halloween candy stashed so you're not into candy making right now.  ;)  But, Christmas is just around the corner and here is a good recipe for Christmas treats.
As Good As Reese’s
Mix together:
1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
3 cups powdered sugar

Melt together the following and add to crumbs:
1½ cups smooth peanut butter
¾ cup margarine

Press into 9 x 13 inch pan.

Melt:
½ cup margarine
1 cup chocolate chips
Pour over other mixture. Freeze or refrigerate and cut.

Variation: 20 squares of graham crackers, 2 squares margarine or butter (1 cup), 4 cups powdered sugar, 2 cups peanut butter.
Tiffany's Note: I made these for a special occasion a while ago so I decided to roll the filling into balls and dip them in chocolate.  (These are dipped in a melted Ghirardelli Candy Making & Dipping Bar.)

They are really simple to make when you make it in a pan and cut it into squares.  The variation is from my mother-in-law (I like it because I don't have to guess how many graham crackers make 1 1/2 cups of crumbs!).  Just use the amounts but with the same procedure listed in the directions.
